Cornerways at The Victorian Conservatory
Believed to have been constructed in about 1850, Cornerways was originally Upper Keeston Farm and was one of only two buildings in Simpson Cross, the other being the Old Smithy on the opposite side of the road.
Now modernised and extended, Cornerways stands in attractive mature gardens which are a delight in spring and summer and feature lawns, a pond and patio area, where breakfast can be served on sunny mornings. The conservatory, which is a well known local landmark is home to a fine productive vine and a substantial and varied breakfast is served here.
All bedrooms have recently been refurbished and have ensuite facilities.
There is a comfortable residents lounge with a variety of maps, guidebooks and information on attractions and `things to do`in and around Pebrokeshire.
Some of Pembrokeshires finest beaches, such as Broadhaven, Little Haven, and Nolton and the renowned coastal path are all within easy reach. We cater for walkers and cyclists and offer a sherpa service for walkers.
St Davids and the magnificent Cathedral are within 10 miles and approached over the undulating coast road which passes through dramatic Newgale and the picturesque harbour village of Solva.
The off lying islands of Ramsey, Skomer and Skokholm are home to a wide variety of sea birds. Skomer can be explored and excursions by boat leave from Martins Haven during summer months.
Lone travellers, couples, families, walkers and cyclists are all welcome and packed lunches are available if required.
The residents lounge has an honesty bar which offers non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks.
Pembrokeshire has a huge amount to offer visitors and we are conveniently located for all parts of the County.
