Llantwit Major
The quaint village of Llantwit Major - 'Llanilltud Fawr' - is steeped in Welsh history. Almost every period in time has left its mark in Llantwit Major; Iron Age hill forts, a Roman villa, Celtic crosses, a medieval grange & fine Tudor buildings, narrow streets, quaint stone cottages & old inns.
The Heritage Coast known for its cliff-top walks, bathing & surfing beaches lies to the south & west of the town. Cardiff (Wales) airport is approx. 5 miles away.
