Welcome to the Wynnstay Inn...
Built in 1784 the Wynnstay is now the only surviving of 5 pubs in the village. This charming stone built building is at the heart of the village and is a real unspoilt traditional country pub.
Our four guest bedrooms are tastefully decorated and offer tea and coffee making facilities, bottled mineral waters and toiletries. A Full Breakfast is served daily at a time to suit our guests so there’s no need to rush!
Although our bedrooms are not en-suite we do have a shower/bath room and 2 wcs adjacent to the bedrooms
A cosy a welcoming atmosphere are combined with great food and ales.
With Bar & Lounge, Games Room and Restaurant along with 4 guest bedrooms make the Wynnstay an ideal choice for those looking for a country B&B in tranquil surroundings.
The Wynnstay Inn is particularly suitable for Walkers and horse riding. There are many fantastic walks close by including the famous Offas Dyke pathway. Pony trekking and quad biking can be arranged at the Inn.
For adventure seekers the local Gyrne mountain is a mecca for paragliding and downhill mountain biking and numerous events are held here throughout the year.
Children are welcome and are permitted in the public bar until 9pm with an accompanied adult.
The Wynnstay Inn also boasts a large beer garden overlooking spectacular scenery.
All of our food is home cooked and the restaurant serves a variety of dishes including grills, pastas, fish dishes alongside lighter meals of burgers, baguettes and wraps. All of the meat in our menu is supplied from a local butcher.
We also offer good real ales and a wide selection of lagers beers wines and spirits.
We offer ample car parking free of charge.
