Arcadia is a suburb in Pretoria, South Africa that is known for its historical buildings, embassies and hotels.

The Union Buildings and the President's residence are also situated here.

The main thoroughfare is Park Street and some of the most interesting places are located in Park Street. Some worth mentioning are the Pretoria Art Museum in its Mid-Century Modernist building, as well as Loftus Versveld Stadium where local and international rugby and soccer matches are played. The University of Pretoria is also near Arcadia.

Also within walking distance is the popular Hatfield Plaza and Hatfield Square. Here you will find restaurants to suit every taste, coffee shops and cinemas.
The very famous and popular Eastwoods Tavern is walking distance from the guesthouse. Here you can enjoy wholesome food with generous portions and a bustling genuine South African ambience.

Also in the vicinity of Arcadia are the following attractions: Melrose house, a beautiful example of Victorian architecture, The National Cultural History which is regarded as a centre for living culture, The Pretoria National Zoological Gardens which is one of the most famous zoos in the world, The South African State Theatre, The Transvaal Museum of Natural History, The Union Buildings, and Wonderboom Nature Reserve.
