Blue Sparrow Guest House, established more than 10 years ago, is situated in a quiet and conveniently close to town area called Groenkol, in Middelburg, Mpumalanga. Recently upgraded, we offer 14 beautifully appointed, contemporary en-suite as well as self-catering accommodation.

These lovely rooms are ideal for long-term business stays, as well as romantic breaks and leisure groups. A wonderful expression of Home away from Home, full of warmth and an amazing energy, makes us the perfect choice for a comfortable and relaxing luxury guest house.

We have a choice of 14 guest rooms available on a bed and breakfast, or dinner, bed and breakfast basis. Lunch packs may be ordered where required. Secure parking and a sparkling pool add to your relaxation.

On the main route to the Kruger National Park and only 1 1/2 hours drive from OR Tambo International Airport.

One hour's drive to Pretoria and in close proximity to Loskop route for plenty of outdoor activities eg. Horse riding, Quad biking, Nature hikes, Bird watching. Nature reserve close by. Watch the lions being fed.

We also offer a function and conference facility for the smaller and more intimate function.
Medium sized weddings etc can be hosted in a Marquis tent with complimentary honeymoon suite for the bridal couple.

Middelburg has a moderate climate during the summer months but can get fairly chilly during the winter season.

We have a fireplace in the guest lounge where you can sit and relax with a nice glass of red wine during the winter season and a beautiful sparkling pool where you can relax with a cocktail during the summer season.
