VJ's Guesthouse is set in Uitenhage with easy access to the highway. Uitenhage is a picturesque town nestled in the foothills of the Winterhoek Mountains.

VJ's Guesthouse features 11 double and single luxury rooms with en-suite bathrooms, and 3 self-catering suites with full bathrooms. The decor is upmarket and each accommodation unit has its own private entrance, air-conditioning, DStv, garden and parking provided on the property. The guesthouse also offers a Wi-Fi hotspot. There is also a cocktail lounge on the premises.

The Vj's Restaurant, with an a la carte menu, is located on the premises to cater for all meals and the property is next to a shopping centre. The restaurant is listed as one of the company's that does catering for VWSA. Outside catering and group bookings for breakfast, lunch and dinners can also be done on request.

The guest house is located 500m from the Uitenhage Sports Centre, where guests can participate in a variety of different activities such as netball, volleyball, indoor soccer, badminton, squash, table tennis, boxing, karate, gymnastics, hand ball and indoor hockey. VJ's is a half an hour drive from the Port Elizabeth Airport.

Tourist attractions which are close by includes Addo Elephant Park, which is about an hours drive, the Volkswagen Auto Pavillion that offers factory tours, the Drostdy Museum and the Nelson Mandela Science and Technology Centre.
