Pelham House Bed & Breakfast
Pelham House is a grand house built in 1906 and renovated to accommodate guests while manitaining original plaster mouldings and wonderful woodwork. Each of the four bedrooms has a private bathroom. One room can sleep four people and another is on the ground floor, for those people who find stairs difficult. Pelham House is a comfortable and welcoming place to rest and recoup. Breakfasts are substantial and healthy.
Where possible the owners try to be kind on the environment. Lunenburg county is at the forefront when it comes to recycling garbage and Pelham House is keen to participate.
Pelham House is a mere five minute stroll from the centre of Lunenburg. Close enough to visit on foot, but far enough away that you can't smell what's cooking for dinner! Lunenburg boasts several fine restaurants and lots of magical shops. The Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic is a must-see for all visitors with its three floors of exhibits, aquarium, and ships tied along side to explore.
Further afield are wonderful beaches, Ovens Natural Park, quaint fishing villages, Ross Farm Museum, Lunenburg County Winery, and many many breathtaking views.
