Peterborough accommodation, Liftlock Bed & Breakfast

Liftlock Bed and Breakfast executive suites are located on Trent Severn Waterway, convenient to downtown Peterborough, all the hockey rinks, Peterborough Regional Health Center, Sir Sandford Fleming College, Trent University and all the major highways.

We are a short distance from Warsaw Caves, Whetung Ojibwa Center, town of Lakefield

Our location is about 1 1/2 hrs from Toronto,

We have 5 acres of lawn, trees and brush. An on-site totem pole signifies Canada at it's best.

You can use our solar heated pool, fish off our dock, explore Trent Canal in one of our canoes or sit and relax in this quiet serene area.

Most mornings, Trent students can be seen on the canal in their racing skiffs.

We have all the amenities of the big city and the virtues of the country side. It is not uncommon to see rabbits, fox, raccoons, white tail deer, Canadian geese and their babies or a crane.

There is ample free parking and we supply a barbecue for anyone desiring one.

Waterview suite is a bright airy suite with large windows and a garden door. A ramp leading to the front door plus a large en-suite bathroom makes this suite wheel-chair accessible. A pillow-top king bed (or 2 singles) mini kitchen, queen size pullout couch and fireplace for your comfort. There is also air-conditioning, cable television and free wireless internet.

Parkview suite has a large outdoor private patio with solar fairy lights. This suite features an en-suite bath, queen size pillowtop bed, mini-kitchen, fireplace, cable TV and wireless internet

Breakfast is served in the dining room, beside pool in summer and beside fireplace in winter.

Our resident pets include 2 alpacas and black German Shepherd dogs (sometimes puppies) kept in a restricted area.

There is a firepit for guests, as well as picnic areas with tables, chairs and benches.
