Hacienda De Café Pomarrosa

Pomarrosa Coffee is grown at the foot of the highest mountain in Puerto Rico, Cerro Punta (1,338 meters).Our coffee plantation, or “cafetal”, is located at an altitude of about 1,000 meters, facing the cooling breezes of the Caribbean Sea. Clouds in the afternoons and the shade of the trees reduce the heat of the sun and allow the coffee to develop slowly.

Cozy and private 'Casitas' (villages) surrounded by a forest make our Plantation the perfect getaway for anyone.

You will be able to indulge in a coffee tasting experience. Coffee prepared by various techniques, accompanied with a home-made dessert, for your delight.

You will learn about the history of coffee in Puerto Rico. The journey continues onto breathtaking panoramic scenery where you will see and experience where and how the coffee grows. Then we visit the area where we work with the coffee and see all the steps that coffee goes through since it's harvest until it reaches your cup. We end the tour with a cappuccino or espresso.

Tours are offered Tuesday through Saturday at 11:00 am. The tour has a duration of approximately two (2) hours. Reservations are required. The cost is $20.00 per person.

We do not offer tours on: January 1, January 6, Holy Friday, Thanksgiving day or the 25th of December.
