Manor Gate is ideally placed for business guests, being in easy reach of all the commercial areas of Newbury and the surrounding business areas of West Berkshire as well as much of the central south. Principal local employers such as Vodafone and Bayer are nearby as are the town's extensive leisure facilities including cinemas. For business and pleasure purposes many local restaurants bars and the renowned Watermill Theatre are easily accessible.

For those on vacation in the area, we are close to open countryside with all of West Berkshire on our doorstep. Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey) is situated nearby, and the numerous attractions of Central Southern England are in easy driving distance.

These include for example, Oxford (30 mins), the Vale of the White Horse, Blenheim Palace and The Cotswolds to the north; tto the West are Bath (75 mins), Stonehenge and Avebury, and South are Salisbury (50 mins) Winchester (30 mins) the test Valley and the New Forest.

London can be reached in less than an hour by train.
Parking is available on site. We are within walking distance of the town centre (approx 15 minutes to a Waitrose, 20 to Parkway shopping and Northbrook Street, 25 to the railway station (London c50 minutes by train)

The two guestrooms at Manor Gate are spacious, comfortably furnished and smartly presented. Each has freeview TV and DVD, an armchair, a desk with reading light & chair, and hot drinks facilities.

Guests are welcome to make use of the breakfast room in the evenings to relax, read or work and have access there to a small fridge microwave and toaster.

Rates per room: 3 nights or more - £48 for single & £68 double occupancy, shorter stays from £54/£72.
