The Washington
The Washington Guesthouse provides budget accommodation in the affluent Clifton area of Bristol city centre. The bedrooms are both comfortable and competitively priced, many have also been recently refurbished. As the hotel is a grade II listed Georgian property main rooms retain original features, such as high ceilings and large windows, giving them a light and airy feel.
Standard rates include a full English or Continental breakfast, bowl of fruit, biscuits and complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
A secure car park at the rear of the building is available at a small extra charge, as is wifi access throughout.
The Guest House has a sister hotel a few doors away at which guests have a discount for the popular restaurant & bar, Racks, and the boutique cafe, Caffe Clifton, with its homemade cakes and wondrous specialty teas.
Room types include Family rooms and non-ensuite Singles as well as more typical Single, Double and Twin rooms, therefore providing a full range of options and prices from as little as £30 B&B.
Transport links are very good with a direct bus to Bristol Temple Meads (the main train station). Bristol Airport is just a 20 minute drive away.
The Clifton area is famous for the Clifton Suspension Bridge, stunning architecture to rival Bath, boutique shops and it's proximity to both Bristol University and the City Centre.
The Washington is located just off Clifton Triangle, very close to BBC Bristol and Whiteladies Road.
