With a philosophy of individuality, we pride ourselves on giving that little bit extra. Each room has fresh tea and coffee, as well as a selection of fruit and herbal teas, tasty biscuits and a bowl of fresh fruit. The setting within a grand Georgian Villa means no two rooms are the same and has allowed us to incorporate many original features of the building including high ceilings and sash-windows. Caffe Clifton, located alongside the hotel reception has been hailed as one of Clifton's hidden gems, offering a fantastic space to grab a quick coffee, enjoy a leisurely lunch or while away the evening with a glass of wine on the terrace.

Racks Bar and Kitchen
You don’t need to venture far for a fantastic dining experience with Racks bar and restaurant on your doorstep. With a wide selection of food and a friendly, warm atmosphere, you will feel at home in no time!
Fresh, quality produce, expertly cooked. Racks apply this to everything they serve, from the famous Racks burger, to hearty homemade pies and their deliciously healthy salads. There really is something for everyone so you can rest assured that your stay will us will be well catered. ‘The core principles behind all of our food are: freshness, provenance, taste and quality.’
Racks has a great range of hand picked local ales and ciders, as well as an extensive wine list. Fancy something different - Racks’ extensive gin menu, ‘The Gin Lane’ features 10 carefully selected gins. From old classics to the new and exciting Monkey 47, this is a Gin menu designed to show the very best this spirit has to offer.
Breakfast
Served daily from 7am to 10am Mon to Fri and 8am to 11.00am Sat and Sun (and bank holidays), our delicious Racks breakfast is available to hotel guests for only £8.50. Choose anything from the brunch menu (£2 supplement for 'The Racks') with a glass of fresh juice and unlimited tea and filter coffee.
Cafe Clifton
The perfect place to catch up over coffee, recline on one of our futon beds and treat yourself to a tasty snack. At Cafe Clifton our ethos is to deliver a fun and relaxed atmosphere alongside the most delicious food & drink from local Bristol suppliers.
