Riverside House

A very friendly welcome awaits you from Caroline and Richard at Riverside House in the delightful Cambridgeshire village of Hemingford Abbots.

The house is peacefully tucked away in two acres of natural gardens extending down to a backwater of the river Great Ouse, which you are very welcome to roam at your leisure. We are only about 600 yards from the middle of the village where you will find St Margaret's Church, our recently built Village Hall and the Axe and Compass public house, where good pub meals are available.

We had the house built in 1980 to a contemporary design, which offers light and spacious rooms. The double room and the twin or family room each have their individual en suite shower rooms. The twin room can have an extra bed/two extra beds/a cot to give a range of options for different groups and ages.

Full English breakfast is served in our dining room, which overlooks the garden. We have a five star hygiene rating from the Council. There is plenty of parking well away from the road.

The rooms have free WiFi, television with freeview, radio/alarm clock and hairdryer.
Children of all ages are very welcome. We regret we are not able to accept pets.

We are conveniently situated one mile off the A14 road from Huntingdon to Cambridge, 5 miles from Huntingdon and 14 miles from Cambridge. We are also 7 miles from Papworth Hospital, 4 miles from Wood Green Animal Shelter, 21 miles from Duxford Imperial War Museum and 44 miles from Stansted Airport.
