Pickmere Country Guest House
The guest house serves evening meals Mondays to Thursdays and lunches, afternoon teas and dinners by prior arrangement. The guest house is fully licensed selling a selection of wines and also beers from a local micro brewery. There are two pubs within easy walking distance and also some great pubs and restaurants all within an 8 minute drive.
We are situated just 8 minutes drive from Knutsford and 6 minutes from Northwich and because of our proximity to Warrington, Chester, Liverpool and Manchester is ideally placed for both business and leisure. We are just 4 minutes drive from M6 junction 19, 10 minutes from M56 junction 10, 20 minutes from Manchester Airport and convenient for Radbroke Hall, Booths Hall, Birchwood, Daresbury and Gadbrook Park Business Parks. There is off road car parking and bicycles can be housed securely.
There are 11 bedrooms, 8 are en suite. 4 bedrooms are superior doubles with king size beds, 1 standard double, 2 family rooms, 1 twin/double room in the garden annex (suitable for guests with dogs) and a single and a small double which share a bathroom also a single with private bathroom. Free wifi available throughout the house.
Breakfast is served between 7.00 to 9.00 Monday to Friday and 8.30 to 9.30 Saturday and Sunday in our dining room. We offer a full English breakfast and a selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, fruit juice, toast, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Special diets are catered for.
The guest lounge has comfortable seating, a flat screen TV with Sky channels, a small library, a piano, childrens’ toys, card and board games and a gas burning log fire.
We also cater for small business meetings, private functions and wedding parties in our guest lounge and dining room.
The small garden has a south facing terrace where guests can sit out in the summer and enjoy a pot of tea, a glass of Pimms or Prosecco.
