Brafferton Guest House
We are a family run guest house with a friendly atmosphere. We are also dog and contractor friendly (as long as they are all toilet trained!)
The guest house is situated halfway down Stockton road, across from the parish church of St. Aidan on Oxford road. We are 5 minutes walk from the town centre
We offer single rooms, double rooms, twin rooms and family rooms. We do not have en-suite facilities.
We have computer access with Broadband for guests in the Lounge, as well as free WiFi broadband access in every room.
We have ironing facilities, access to the kitchen, (as long as you clean up after you) and a guest lounge. We also have coffee & tea making facilities, hair dryers, digital television and DVD players in every room.
Hartlepool is central to the North East of England with good roads, motorways within 20 minutes of the guest house. We are home to the Trincomalee and Maritime Experience, gearing up and looking forward to hosting the Tall Ships Race in 2010.
Our website shows most of the attractions in and around Hartlepool
There are many hidden facets of Hartlepool - apart from the monkey, Hartlepool was the first place to be bombarded in the 'Great War' with the first recorded casualties, and the Heugh Battery is testimony to the battle.
Time Team also had fun here with St Hilda's Church, and DIY SOS won't forget this place in a hurry either!
If we're missing anything, please let us know!
We are half an hour from Durham Cathedral, Middlesborough, Sedgefield, Redcar, Stockton and Darlington.
We are an hour away from the Lake District, York, the Dales, Newcastle and an hour and a half away from the Scottish border.
