Edwardian Guesthouse Bed & Breakfast
Edwardian House Bed and Breakfast is a small privately owned guesthouse circa approx 1902 situated in Redcar with far reaching sea views to the rear over Coatham Bay and across the bay to Hartlepool.
We have been welcoming guests to our home for several years and experience a high number or repeat visitors and many that have been recommended by others. We offer a double ensuite room, a twin ensuite room and a single room with private bathroom just outside the bedroom door, all rooms have freeview TV, free wi-fi, tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries and comfortable beds.
We are within easy walking distance of the town centre, racecourse, beach, train station, golf club and you will never be short of things to do as just a short drive away are many places of interest including Kirkleatham museum and owl sanctuary, Coatham Marsh Nature Reserve, Preston Park museum and Butterfly World, Tees Barrage for canoeing and white water rafting, Saltburn with Victorian cliff lift and surfing, The beautiful North Yorkshire Moors, Hartlepool Marina and Maritime museum and Historic Whitby.
We are easily accessed from the A19 and A66 and we are approx 18 miles from Durham Tees Valley Airport (formerly Teesside Airport).
Middlesbrough, Stockton,
Darlington and Durham are all a short distance away and all these are well worth a visit. Why not use us as a base to tour this fascinating area and discover Beamish Open air Museum, this is a must see if you have never experienced it as it portrays life as it was many years ago and is packed with wonderful shops, buildings and businesses and also a school and miners cottages and trips down the mine.
