Anchorage House is a stunning country lodge located in the centre of Cornwall and only five minutes from the Eden Project. Twice awarded 'Best Bed and Breakfast in Britain' (in 2003 and 2005) by Les Routiers, 'Guest House/B and B of the Year 2008/09' (Cornwall Tourist Board), 'Friendliest B and B, 2016' Runner Up, and 'B and B of the Year 2005, Southwest England' (Les Routiers). It is also the highest rated guest accommodation in Cornwall, having been awarded the AA's ultimate commendation of 5 Gold Stars, and 5 Stars with Gold Award by Visit Britain/English Tourist Board.

You will find Anchorage House at the end of a small private lane. It's hard to believe this is not an old house with its antiques, wood paneling, polished wood floors, and many fine things. It has a timeless, traditional feel and is deliciously luxurious and comfortable. Anchorage House is in the Georgian style and very impressive. The dazzling black and white tiled hallway, upper landing, antique and modern furniture, lush carpets and stone tiled bathrooms give it a magazine-style gloss.

The elegant suites and bedrooms are sparkling clean, accented with antiques, and stuffed with everything to make you happy and very comfortable. Be pampered with huge comfy beds, large digital televisions, plush carpets, designer curtains, exquisite marbled bathrooms with huge baths and separate invigorating power showers, CD/DVD/video players, fridges and Elemis toiletries.

Anchorage House is totally non-smoking and is all you could hope for. Incomparable! Jane and Steve Epperson (she's English, he's American) do it the very best way and guests are spoiled. Their 'Thank You' book is full of praise. It is a treat to stay here and their guests return often.
