Bostrase B&B with Boo & Matt
4 en-suite bedrooms, with 5ft or 6ft beds, large showers and modern facilities. With one bedroom on the ground floor, being ideal for anyone with limited mobility, or a registered assistance dog, but not suitable for a wheelchair. Each of our bedrooms, has a different style, but your comfort is our first priority.
Plenty of parking and various areas to sit in the garden or orchard. Free range chickens, ducks, a large lazy dog and 3 cats.
We have our very own, freshly filtered spring water, for drinking and bathing.
Bostrase is situated on the grounds, of the estate, originally owned by the Trevithick family. Richard Trevithick being the inventor of the Cornish boiler and many other steam related inventions.
Breakfast at Bostrase with Boo & Matt, can be quite a leisurely affair, if you are lucky enough to be on holiday, with everyone sitting around a large circular table. The table itself, is quite special, certainly different to anything you will have seen before. Whether you feel sociable and like a chat, or prefer to sit quietly, listen and people watch, no doubt you will pick up some tips, on where to go exploring, or find a good restaurant, during your stay.
For those with allergies, there is no feather bedding, but don’t forget, we do have cats, a dog, ducks and chickens. We can not promise that a cat will not come in your room, if the door is open, they may well enter, as there will have been previous guests, who encouraged and enjoyed their company. Obviously, rooms are well vacuumed and have thorough housekeeping.
On request, we can supply an iron and ironing board, cork screw, alarm clock and can even dry wet clothes, on those rainy days.
We may even be able to help with those silly little things that get forgotten, like beach towels and tooth brushes.
