Eeabank Lodge Licenced Guest House

We have five rooms, four being en-suite and one with a private bathroom just across the hall. The guest rooms have all been renovated to a high standard with top quality bedding and furniture.

The en-suite family room is very spacious with a double and twin beds. There is room for a cot if necessary.

Each room has a TV DVD combo television, a hospitality tray and a hair dryer. There is an iron and ironing board available.

All the bath and shower rooms have been refitted to a high standard.

The ground floor bedroom is also a spacious double en-suite room with a bath and shower combined.

A further large double or spacious family room is located in the old coach house at the back of the guest house. This has a private entrance and en suite bathroom.

Our tariff is from £30 per person per night Bed & Breakfast
Children under 14 Half price.

Breakfast is served every morning from 8am until 9:30 am.
Other times can be accommodated by request.

There is a variety of cereals, chilled fruit juices and fresh fruit to choose from on a self service basis with a supply of brown or white bread and a toaster.

We freshly cook a full English breakfast with a choice of ingredients most of which is supplied by local farms.

The Dining Room is situated through the lounge bar in the old coaching house.

A range of home cooked evening meals are available on request including local dishes like Cumberland sausage followed by Cartmel's famous sticky toffee pudding. Special diets can be catered for if you inform us when you book.
Alternatively there are two pubs within walking distance serving meals.

The Lounge Bar offers comfortable seating, a cosy log burning fire and a selection of beer, wines and spirits.

Leading from the bar and dining room is our patio area which guests are invited to use whenever the weather permits.

The Guest House has an analogue fire alarm system installed and fire doors fitted which complies to the Cumbria fire service regulations.

We have internet access and a printer and photocopier that guests may use when available.

There is a car park across the road and plenty of on street parking outside the guest house.

We have a secure storage area for those wishing to bring mountain bikes to explore the Lake District.
Local information and maps are available for you.

Fishing trips can be arranged.

There are 2 golf courses nearby & we have a 2 for 1 green fee offer.

For our younger guests the South Lakes Wild Animal Park is also a short car journey away.

There are a number of walks in the local area with great views out over Morecambe Bay and across the Lakeland hills.

Eeabank Lodge was formerly an old coaching house, and until 1912 was known as The Railway Hotel A period residence of great charm and character, built circa 1760. The name of the house is taken from the River Eea, which runs through the village

A no smoking policy is in operation within the guesthouse.
