There are so many amazing Fells to walk around Keswick and the Northern Lakes, all with spectacular views:
To the North, there is the Skiddaw range, which dominates over Keswick.
To the East there is Blencathra and Clough Head and the Dodds which stretch over towards the famous Helvellyn range and the Lake Districts very own ski tow!
To the West is the stunning Grisedale Pike and the Fells of the Newlands Valley – the 15mile Coledale horseshoe walk is one not to be missed taking in Sail, Causey Pike to name just a few of the amazing Fells.
To the South is Borrowdale and its amazing selection of Fells of varying heights from where you can see Scafell Pike – THE highest mountain in England with a summit of 978 metres.
Keswick is situated on the C2C route and this fascinating area should appeal to cyclists of all ages and abilities. You can adapt your route to take in picturesque country lanes or remote off-road tracks surrounded by a stunning Lakeland landscape.

Keswick holds an historic market every Thursday and Saturday in the main market square around the Moot Hall. Here you will find stalls selling local produce, arts and crafts.
