Superbly appointed b&b accommodation just a short 2 minute walk to Lake Windermere and the amenities of Bowness village. There are a vast choice of excellent pubs and restaurants within walking distance.

There are many local walks straight from our doorstep to wonderful view points looking over the Lake. Packed lunches can be provided (at a small cost) plus we will freely fill your flask with a beverage of your choice.

Our double and twin rooms are en-suite with shower and our one single room has a private bathroom with shower. Very high standards and comfort assured. One of the doubles is on the ground floor making it very handy for guests who have difficulty with stairs. All rooms have flat screen TV with Freeview digital channels, refreshment tray, hairdryer, towels and toiletries provided. Free Wi-Fi access to all rooms. Breakfast is fully inclusive with vegetarian, continental and lighter options.

For guests arriving by train: Windermere Train Station is 1.5 miles from Holmlea. There are taxis and buses available.

For guests arriving by car: Take Junction 36 off the M6 motorway and follow signs to Windermere on the A591. Follow one way system through Windermere down the hill to Bowness. Go left at the roundabout and first left into Kendal Road. Holmlea is about 200m on the right hand side.
