Sunset House B&B

Sunset House is located in the quiet village of Newton Reigny minutes away from the town of Penrith, and less than 20 minutes from the Lake Ullswater.

The village is on the C2C cycle route and the Lakes and Dales cycle route, there is storage space for bicycles.

Our large spacious rooms both sleep 3, consisting of a double and a single bed, (one bedroom also has a pull out bed) and are located on the ground floor overlooking the garden and fields they have en-suite showers, free wifi, a flat screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities.

You start your day and enjoy a full English Breakfast cooked with local produce or go for lighter options.

There is a pub located in the village which is a short 5 minute walk away.

In the town of Penrith there is a good selection of places to eat, offering various cuisines.

There are many attractions local to us the Ullswater Steamers, Rookin House Equestrian and Activity Centre, Theatre by the Lake, The World of Beatrix Potter, Upfront Gallery, Lowther Castle and Gardens, Hutton in the Forest and Dalemain to name a few.

Activities such as: fishing, golf, tennis, swimming, bowling and horse riding can all be found locally.

There a couple of specialist shops, supermarkets, craft shops and cafes in Penrith but if you are looking for a full shopping experience Carlisle is the place for you located 18 miles away. The historic city of Carlisle offers its Cathedral, Museums and a local Castle, and various high street shops.
