Chapel Cottage
This stone-built cottage (over 300 years old) offers a very well furnished and thoughtfully equipped double bedroom complete with separate, adjoining shower room - a separate sitting room for your personal use and your own front door! The bedroom, bathroom and lounge were all completely renovated in 2007 and are to a very high standard. We will try and accommodate your needs, if you don't wish to eat out in the evening then you can if you wish bring a 'take away' back.
There are many attractions within easy reach of Chapel Cottage B&B - including Chatsworth House, which has beautiful grounds, farm shop and garden centre. Haddon Hall which is situated near Bakewell, Lyme Park which is famous for its appearance in Pride and Prejudice, in fact all beautiful houses have been used for period plays on the television.
The famous Caverns at Castleton & Buxton, Buxton Opera House have nightly performances ranging from opera to comedy. Crich tram museum is a favourite attraction. A little further away is Matlock and Matlock Bath, both worth a visit, Matlock Bath in the early 19th century was a favourite holiday resort for many people, in August they have there very own illuminations! For the more adventurous there are fantastic walks at nearby Mam Tor, Kinder Scout, The Goyt Valley and more.
Chapel village itself enjoys a wide selection of pubs, many restaurants, Italian, Indian, Chinese- all within easy walking of your own front door!
