Brownsea Island, our local National Trust site can be visited from the quay/harbourside, via ferries which run daily, the home of the Red Squirrel, and Scout founder Lord Baden Powell. Also Kningston Lacy House, at Wimborne, with its local town markets, not forgetting yet another National Trust Tourist attraction Corfe Castle.
Dorsets Jurassic Coast line including Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, are within easy reach by car or bus. Or for those who enjoy walking part of the South West Coastal Path route.
Suitable for a cross channel ferries with early continental if required.
