Found on a quiet country lane, Bye ways is an ideal base for exploring 1066 country. The accommodation is comfortable and pretty. We have a twin room with luxury en suite facilities and a single room with shared bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities are available. Enjoy breakfast in the pretty cottage garden or in the light and spacious conservatory. Views to the front of the house are towards the South Downs and the English Channel and towards the rear, the beautiful countryside of the Weald. There is ample parking available.

We are just minutes from Herstmonceux village with its two pubs serving food, (the Woolpack and the Brewers Arms) a top rated gourmet restaurant (the Sundail), a Bistro (the Malthouse) , and an Indian Restaurant ( Eastern Promise). There are lots of cosy Country Pubs within a five mile radius for the complete English experience!

Local attractions include Herstmonceux Castle, Glyndebourne, Drusillas Zoo Park, Batemans, Battle, Brighton, Eastbourne with the famous Beachy Head and Hastings. We are a great location as we are so central to many areas, including Kent attractions such as their famous hop farms and Oast houses and Newhaven ferry port.
