We offer a double room with private bath/shower or can accommodate a family of 4 with twin bedded room. The double room has a TV, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Breakfast consists of cereals, mixed toasts with preserves, yoghurts, fresh fruit. English breakfast or continental if preferred and any dietary requests granted where possible.
There are many festivals and markets in the area. St Helens Woods nearby are wonderful for walking, especially in the Spring with the bluebells, wild garlic and many other wild flowers. Hastings Country Park is about a mile away where one can walk along the cliffs overlooking the English Channel.
The town of Rye is 15 minutes drive away with its' cobbled street and ancient buildings. Rye like Hastings is a cinque port, as is Winchelsea, just a few miles away. Hastings has a good shopping area, as well as the old town where you can see the fishermen bring in their catch.
There is a funicular lift which takes you from the beach up to the cliffs above. There are many activities in Hastings for couples and families alike. Fun to be had on the bowling and putting greens. Blue Reef Aquarium and Smugglers Adventure.
Over the May bank holiday there is a festival called Jack in the Green, which culminates on the Bank Holiday with a procession and celebrations. Later in the year there is a carnival, which begins a series of carnivals in the villages and towns around. In Battle which is a most interesting town just a few miles away, in October has a re-enactment of the Battle of Hastings.
