Jacqui, Tim and Kuno the cat welcome you to Mandalay a homely run bed and breakfast, situated in the conservation area of Meads Village Eastbourne, between the town centre and Beachy Head on the beautiful South Downs.

Our recently refurbished accommodation offers 2 rooms, one double and one double/twin both with en-suite, coffee making facilities and televisions, with a home cooked full english breakfast included. You are welcome to use our lounge, wifi and garden areas plus off road parking.

Meads is a charming village setting with local pubs, shops and restaurants, it is situated at the base of the South Downs so we are an excellent accommodation choice for people attempting the South Downs Way, the more challenging Beachy Head Marathon, or just coming to enjoy the many other events that Eastbourne has to offer. We are a 10-15 minute walk from the beautiful Eastbourne Seafront, the Theatres, Towner Art Gallery and the Town Centre which are in walking distance or a short bus ride away.

Mandalay is also an ideal location for families visiting university students or the schools in the area - we are within walking distance of St. Andrew’s and St Bede’s Prep Schools, close to Brighton University, and a short drive away from Eastbourne College and Moira House.

Eastbourne is a large town and borough in East Sussex, on the south coast of England. It is situated immediately east of Beachy Head, the highest chalk sea cliff in Great Britain and an area of outstanding natural beauty.
