Finial House Bed & Breakfast
Finial House is a 17th century former Rectory opposite the bowling green in the quiet rural Cotswold village of Broadwell near Burford (A40) 6 miles. The Cotswold Wildlife Park and the upper reaches of the River Thames are 3 miles away. London is only 70 miles away.
We run a friendly and relaxed family house with a large mature garden, with herbaceous borders, croquet lawn, hard tennis court and surf swing.
There are many lovely Cotswold walks and the Thames footpath is close by; fabulous for walking, picnicing and boating. We keep an Edwardian punt on the river which is available for use by our guests in the summer months. The countryside around us is also great for cyclists who wish to explore the surrounding lanes and villages. Riding and Polo are nearby.
We make our own Cotswold Crunch bread and jams and keep free range hens who all have names! Breakfast will be cooked on our Aga to order, all ingredients sourced locally and served in our dining room.
Chicken friendly dogs are most welcome.
We have 2 very large double rooms available with wonderful views.
One with a King size double bed, the other has twin beds. There is a bathroom inbetween and a further bathroom available.
(Additional put up beds on request)
Each room has tea and coffee making facilities with home made shortbread and fresh flowers.
