Nursery Cottage
Paula and Steve offer you a warm welcome to this family run bed and breakfast. Situated in the heart of the beautiful Test Valley, famous for salmon fishing, East Tytherley with its 13th century church typifies the area.
Our Victorian cottage is situated close to peaceful on and off road cycle routes and the area is criss-crossed with footpaths and bridleways.
Nursery cottage offers two double rooms one of which has an en-suite shower room and the other a separate bathroom. There is also a twin room giving ideal family accomodation. Each has a colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The accommodation also benefits from a guests lounge and gardens to relax in. A choice of breakfasts are offered with eggs from our own hens. There are a number of pubs nearby offering very good lunches or evening meals.
New during 2010 'The Roost' provides a self contained suite with kitchenette/lounge, separate bedroom and shower room. 'The Roost' can be let on a non-catered basis or with continental breakfast. Please call or e-mail for full details and prices

An idyllic setting for your stay in Test Valley
With so many footpaths and bridleways the area is ideally suited to walking, cycling or horse riding. There are also a number of opportunities for fishing nearby.
Within a short drive are the towns of Romsey and Stockbridge and within a half hours drive Salisbury and Southampton. Romsey is the home of the late Lord Mountbatten of Burma and Broadlands House is open to the public during the summer months. The National Trust property Mottisfont House, abbey & gardens famous for its collection of roses and huge Plane Tree is within walking distance.
