Rural bed & Breakfast with homely feel

Based in central southern England within easy reach of the whole of the south coast’s beaches and a short ferry trip from France. We can access the West Country or the garden of England (Kent) within a couple of hours.

Our house is in a village called Sherfield English, which is about 6 miles from the main M27. We are situated 4 miles from Romsey, on the A27, 12 miles from Salisbury, with its famous cathedral and Southampton with its cruise ship terminal, we are also within 18 miles of the historic city of Winchester.

Portsmouth with its world famous naval dock yard and ships including the first Iron clad warship the HMS Warrior, Nelsons flagship HMS Victory and Henry VIII warship the Mary rose. The New Forest National Park with its free roaming ponies and acres of open countryside is a stone’s throw away and the ferries to the Isle of Wight sail from Portsmouth, Southampton and Lymington.

The house is detached in a rural setting with great view of the Hampshire countryside; we are able to accept pets providing they are well behaved like our own dogs!!

We pride ourselves on our homely atmosphere and welcoming smile. Our rooms are all excellently decorated but retaining the cosy ambiance that we all like, they are all ensuite, one being based on the ground floor with its own access and a large bathroom with both a bath and a shower this is ideal for the disabled and elderly that cannot easily manage the stairs. This room also has a pull out double bed/sofa so is also ideal for a couple with either one or two small children.
