Quiet accommodation on a working arable farm on the edge of this pretty village.
We have a very good local pub (booking a table is essential). Our large garden is for you to enjoy. Two local market towns are close by, and the university city of Cambridge is an easy trip.
Duxford war museum is very interesting and people come from all over the world to visit it. Nuthampstead was the base of the American 398th bomber group and is 3 miles from Hall Farm.
The small town of Buntingford is an interesting place and there are so many pretty villages with their well-maintained churches just waiting for you to discover.
Granchester Orchard tearooms is another one not to be missed.
Melbourn Science Park is close by also the Genome Centre is an extremely well known centre of excellence.
There are numerous pubs and restaurants in the area all competing to provide you with a memorable meal. The coast of Norfolk is a great place to visit and will take about a 2 hour journey.
This is a convenient place to stay to visit London. Nearby are Audley End Station going to Liverpool Street Station and takes about 50 minutes on the train. In the other direction Royston Station runs trains to King's Cross Station very frequently and takes about 50 minutes also.
Great Chishill has its very own windmill, which can be looked inside. Hall Farm is an arable farm, growing wheat and oilseeds on 500 acres. No animals, except 2 Labradors and 1 cat. Come and see this beautiful area of England, you will be most welcome. Jean
