Oaklands at Yarbridge
With its informal relaxed atmosphere, you are guaranteed a warm welcome at Oaklands on the Isle of Wight.
All our bedrooms are Air Conditioned and have recently been refurbished with individually designed ensuites bathrooms. All have Colour TV, Fridge, Clock/Radio, Hairdryer, Personal Safe, Tea/Coffee facilities and most are furnished with high quality British made Stag furniture.
Wifi internet access is FREE of charge.
Hidden from the road by a high fence and trees, Oaklands is situated at the foot of the scenic Brading Downs, making an ideal base for both walking and cycling holidays-Safe Cycle storage can be provided. Our heated swimming pool (open June to September) is available most days from 2pm to dusk.
During your stay you may spot a rare red squirrel coming to our garden to feed. The friendly railway-themed village pub, The Yarbridge Inn is just across the road. If you enjoy fishing, the River Yar is just a few metres further away.
Oaklands was featured in the April 2006 Sunday Mirror article The Best of British at Bargain Prices and has been awarded 5 stars (the maximum possible rating) by the Isle of Wight Council for food hygiene standards.
We are also proud to have achieved GOLD status from Green Island Tourism. As caring for the environment is important to us - Eco friendly products are used when possible. Fairtrade, Organic as well as Local products are offered at breakfast.
We offer a light continental buffet style breakfast (which includes yoghurts, cereals, juices, bread, toast, croissants etc)
A minimum of 2 nights stay is required for all rooms.
We are 100% non-smoking.
Regrettably, we cannot accept pets or children under twelve years of age.
