Our Guesthouse is a large Victorian house set back from the sea but within a few minutes walk to the beach. CloonLara is only a few miles from excellent golf courses and many sites of historic interest such as the Cinque Ports of Sandwich, Ramsgate Royal Harbour and Canterbury. For those who enjoy the outdoors there is the 26 mile Viking Coastal Trail, or surfing on Joss Bay. Dover and its White Cliffs is about a 30 minute drive away.

Broadstairs hosts many events during the year including Dickens Week, Folk week, Water Gala and a Food Festival. The town has many bars and restaurants as well as regular firework displays throughout the summer. Should you wish to have a lazy day by the beach or a busy nightlife, CloonLara is ideally situated for your stay in Broadstairs.
