We offer a comfortable stay in our friendly Seven roomed Guest House. Each room has tea and coffee facilities and flat screen TV and DVD. We are situated right on the sea front opposite the Band Stand with many very good restaurants nearby. We also have a double ensuite room on the ground floor catering for the disabled. We have an excellent choice of breakfasts including full English, porridge, cereals and a selection of toasts, jams, marmalades and fruit juices. Continental breakfasts are available on request. Local homemade salmon fishcakes are available.
Walking, fishing and cycling is very popular in the area.
This is also the home of the bouncing bomb tests in WW2 for Sir Barnes Wallace, to which a statue has been erected on the grass downs in the town.
The historic City of Canterbury is just 6 miles away and the cosy fishing harbour of Whitstable is only 4 miles away, offering fresh fish from the harbourside and numerous restaurants and bars.
Herne Bay Station is a mere 5 minutes in the car with ample parking to anywhere that pleases you.
The rest of Kent is just a drive away to wherever takes your fancy.

The Herne Bay Carnival happens every year in August. This is followed by the Herne Bay Festival with live bands, fireworks, childrens face painting and a hive of activities for all the family.
To the west, the historic City of Rochester is within an hours drive with close links to Charles Dickens, also The charming town of Broadstairs to the east with the wonderful Bleak House as written by Charles Dickens.
