Cedar House Rochester Bed & Breakfast
Cedar House is an Edwardian detached house standing in its own grounds just one mile from Rochester’s historic High Street, Cathedral, Castle and railway station and just a short journey to the Historic Dockyard and Dickens World at Chatham.
Our spacious bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, provide an exceptional level of comfort in peaceful surroundings. Each room is centrally heated with double glazing and has a flat screen TV, beverage and refreshments tray. Complementary toiletries are provided in each en-suite. Our aim is to ensure you have a comfortable and peaceful night’s sleep, for example by using only 100% Egyptian cotton bedding and towels. Flowers and champagne can be ordered by arrangement for that special occasion. Wi-Fi is available in each bedroom.
Our scrumptious breakfast is served in the traditional dining room overlooking the front garden. As well as the traditional full English breakfast we offer tempting alternatives such as scrambled eggs and smoked salmon and a wider choice of dishes for guests spending several days with us.
Prices start from £45 for single occupancy of a double room. Double and twin rooms are from £70 for two persons, including breakfast.
Speaking French, Dutch and German, we offer a particularly warm welcome to guests from the continent and further afield.
Rochester is centrally located at the heart of north Kent placing us in the ideal position for a visit to the South-East of England and London. We are within 30 minutes of the Olympic Games site at Stratford and the major shopping centres of Bluewater and Westfield. Trains to London take just 35 minutes to St. Pancras, 45 minutes to Victoria and trains to Ebbsfleet International Station take just 20 minutes. We are 35 minutes by car from the Eurotunnel at Folkestone and 50 minutes from Dover. Rochester is also an ideal place for walkers and cyclists.
So whether you are visiting Kent, just passing through or here on business you will find a warm welcome, a comfortable night’s sleep and a delicious breakfast at Cedar House.
