This converted oasthouse dates back, in part to the C17th with original beams and features adding to it's rustic charm. The guest rooms are spacious and comfortable with ensuite bathrooms and great attention to detail throughout. The delicious choice of freshly prepared breakfasts includes local or home grown produce when in season or available. Situated on a working fruit farm the Oast is well away from busy roads and visitors are invited to explore the 200 acres of farmland or venture further into neighbouring Bedgebury Forest. If you bring your bicycle you can even cycle the 10km off road cycle track in the forest.

Hallwood Farm Oast is ideally situated for numerous local Castles, Gardens and Historic houses. These include Sissinghurst, Great Dixter and Pashley Manor Gardens, Hever, Leeds and Bodiam Castle and Knole and Bateman's houses. National Trust members will be spoilt for choice.

Just one hour from Canterbury and half an hour from Tunbridge Wells, Ashford, Maidstone or Hastings the Oast is centrally positioned. London is only one hour by train from Staplehurst Station. The area is well served with first class pubs and restaurants so there is plenty of choice for evening meals.
