Beautiful Yurt B & B.
The Cottage Garden Yurt B and B is a romantic and unusual place to stay in the heart of the Kent countryside and yet only 3 miles from the Wealden town of Tenterden.
Our pretty yurt sits at the top of our cottage garden within it's own private space up on a deck looking out over a wild flower meadow.
The yurt is well insulated and heated by a wood-burning stove, logs provided and fire lighting service if you are a late arrival.
The interior is furnished with antique furniture and a very comfortable Victorian double bed with fresh cotton bed linen, and cosy blankets. tea making facilities within the yurt.
The yurt is lit with lanterns and solar bedside lights making it a very romantic and atmospheric place at night.
Next to the yurt is our pretty New England Saltbox shed bathroom, complete with WC, hot shower and towels.
Within the lobby of the bathroom shed is a small area with electric sockets to charge mobile phones, use hairdryer and mini kitchen.
A continental breakfast is provided within the yurt to enable you to breakfast at your leisure overlooking the meadow on a sunny morning.
The local area offers a wide variety of attractions.
The local town of Tenterden is an attractive Georgian town with many individual shops, restaurants and cafes. The steam railway offers visitors the chance to travel as far as Bodiam Castle, a lovely picnic trip!. Sissinghurst Castle and its famous gardens are 15 minutes drive away. The gardens of Great Dickster are 20 minutes away.
The ancient town of Rye is 30 minutes drive with it's winding cobbled streets, antique shops and historical buildings.
Camber Sands is 40 minutes away offering miles of unspoiled beach to walk, swim and kite surf.
The Channel Tunnel is 40 minutes along the M20 if you fancy a day trip to France.
