Open log fires and Kentish hops lining the beams, it's hard not to fall in love with 'The Fitz', as it's known to many.
Surrounded by gorgeous Kentish scenery, it is the perfect place to hang up your boots after a walk in the country, bring your dogs too, they will be more than welcome.
The FitzWalter Arms dates back to 1589, nestled close to Goodnestone Park Gardens and the stunning St. Nicholas Church, the pub is the heart of a friendly community. Open log fires, wooden floors, exposed brick walls and Kent hops lining the beams, you can't help but fall in love. The entire village is a feast for the eyes with its stunning architecture.

The pub offers something for everyone, whether it is a game of Bar Billiards, home cooked food or even a nice quiet drink, either by the fire or sat in our gorgeous garden soaking up the sun, it's the perfect location to unwind. There's also a dog bowl for your four legged friend. A perfect retreat into the Kent countryside.
Jane Austin was a frequent visitor here and greatly enjoyed the famous Serpentine walk, four and a half miles through the Fitzwalter estate.
