Our Lancashire bed and breakfast makes an idea base for either businessmen working away from home being close to the city but with all the peace and tranquility of the countryside or for people looking for a short break.
If you are interested in country pursuits, within easy reach you can go fishing, golfing and rambling. For the more adventurous experience the thrills of a day at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Or enjoy a trip to the Lake District, but return to the relaxing countryside in the evening.
There are a wide variety of pubs and restaurants within 1½ to 3 miles offering an excellent choice of cuisine but always remember to leave room for our hearty English breakfast.
We offer All the facilities of a hotel, but with the friendliness and comfort of our home where guests have access to the rooms at all times. The rooms have en-suite facilities, beverage tray and television. With all the rooms having central heating.
If you are a golfer we are about a mile away from the Goosnargh Golf. The 9-hole golf course has been developed to incorporate the natural landscape. You can play 9 or 18 holes on this pay and play golf course. They have produced a course that helps preserve the natural environment of the existing ponds and streams.
There is an extensive range of walking opportunities for people staying at Isles Field Barn farm house bed and breakfast. You have one of two options, you can either stroll the lanes and paths around the vicinity of Isles Field Barn.
The countryside around Isles Field Barn is great for cycling. Cycling National Route 6 is right on our door step (about 200 meters away). This stretch of Route 6 goes from Preston to Keswick. If you are feeling energetic Route 6 takes you from London to Keswick when it is completed. Regional Route 90 of the Lancashire Cycleway also links in to Route 6 at the end of Syke House Lane.
