Spring Cottage is a period house, maintaining many of its original features, mixing elegance with modern-day comforts. All rooms are en-suite with power showers or bath tubs and fully tiled.

The bedrooms are furnished to a very high standard with very comfortable beds, side tables, wardrobes and writing desks, each room has a flat screen television, DVD, clock radio alarm with ipod/phone docking station and wireless internet. We offer an ironing service, if required, and for longstay guest an evening meal.

Full English breakfast is served daily in the dining room and we can cater for most special diets, with advance notice. We have off road parking and a garden. We welcome short stay or longstay guest, offering longstay guests a discount for full occupancy, to be negotiated.

Spring Cottage is in the heart of England close to junction 24 of the M1, also the A42 and the A50. We are convenient for shopping trips to Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, or towns such as Ashby de la Zouch, Loughborough or Long Eaton. We are also handy for days out to the Charnwood Forest, Calke Abbey.

The National Water Sports Centre, Chatsworth House, Wollaton Park, Derbyshire Dales, Hardwick Hall, the lovely market towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell. Chesterfield and Burton on Trent. We have thirty years experience as award winning publicans and we pride ourselves on attention to detail and the best possible customer service.

We can also cater for special family occasions, such as a special birthday, with a small family dinner party to be served in the evening. If an evening meal out is required we also have a restaurant two minutes from Spring Cottage and a short walk into Castle Donington will provide plenty of restaurants and bars.
