Park Farm Bed & Breakfast
Only a 10 minute drive north of the historic coaching town of Stamford, and Burghley House, the site of the famous horse trials, and setting for many major films including Pride and Prejudice and the De Vinci Code.
Bordering England's smallest county of Rutland, Park Farm is ideally situated for sailing, fishing, cycling and bird watching all possible at Rutland Water.
Geoff Hamilton's famous Barnsdale Gardens are also close by.
Tolethorpe Hall (Rutland Open Air Theatre), Grimsthorpe and Belvoir Castle together with the National Trust's Belton House and Woolsthorpe Manor are within easy driving distance.
Rooms and Facilities
We have two individually styled and spacious bedrooms available. Both with uninterrupted views over open fields.
A queen size double, ensuite (bath with thermostatic shower over, basin, bidet, and loo).
A mini Suite, consisting of a bedroom with a double and single bed, this is available as a family, double, twin or single room, it's own bathroom (roll top bath, basin and loo) and a private landing.
Both rooms offer a full size teletext television; wireless internet; DAB radio alarm clock; hairdryer, a good selection of tea/coffee making, and ironing facilities.
Our comprehensive breakfast menu offers a good selection of starter and cooked options including full English or Vegetarian, sourced where possible from local produce.
Unlimited off road parking for vehicles, boats, trailers, horseboxes, etc.
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate young children.
Although it is not possible to have guests' pets in the house, we do have a dog kennel with small covered run available and fields for walkies.
There are several excellent Pubs in neighbouring villages, with extensive menus and ales.
