The Heathers

The Heathers bed and breakfast is our family home. We only let 2 twin rooms and they are clean and comfortable.

Tea/coffee and biscuits are provided free. Rooms have colour TV, hairdryer and electric fans (in the warmer weather). Soft towelling dressing gowns in rooms for use whilst staying with us. Fridge for guests use and roomy bathroom with power shower etc. shared exclusively between 2 rooms. Bring your laptop and free WIFI is available,

We are 20 minutes by train to Charing Cross - the centre for all tourist activity. London Bridge is 10 minutes away by local train. The Glades and Bromley Shopping Centre is nearby with plenty to satisfy everyone at competitive prices. Plentiful on road car parking at no extra charge.

Our nearest railway station is 1 mile away and there is a frequent public bus service. We give directions to and from all major airports - Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and City Airport. We arrange to meet our guests on their arrival at our local station - Either Hither Green or Catford Bridge Stations.

London is an old and interesting City. Lots of museums, art galleries and churches. Visit St. Pauls Historic Church or Westminster Abbey while you are here - see where William and Kate celebrated their wedding in 2011. The London Eye is a great attraction and has been enjoyed by everyone staying with us. The London Olympics have been wonderful.

Take the opportunity to look at Buckingham Palace or the many palaces and gardens in the South of England. Most of our guests love to visit Harrods - even if it is only to look!

The parks in London are open to everyone - if the weather is fine take a sandwich and sit in St. James Park and watch the world go by. You can visit the London Zoo in Regents Park. There is so much for you to do and see in London and we want you to enjoy your visit.
