Close to many golf courses and the Marine Lake at West Kirby. Hoylake is to host the 2007 European Sand yachting Championships.

We are nicely situated to Visit Chester and North Wales.

Liverpool has many attractions, such as the Beetles Museum, Maritime Museum Albert Dock, the cross river ferry and many shops to satisfy the hardened shopperholic! And Liverpool has an abundance of shopping Malls and parades and an excellent choice of bars and restaurants.

Liverpool the European Capital of culture 2008 - has an extensive range of entertainment venues to suite all ages and tastes. We are a short drive away from the UKs largest Designer Outlet Village - Cheshire Oaks with its 140 shops, children's play area, themed food court and late night openings, you will be spoilt for choice. Located alongside the Village is the Coliseum Entertainment complex, which includes the Blue Planet Aquarium and the David Lloyd sports centre.

We are close to Thurstaston, which gets its name from Thors stone, Thurstaston was a Viking settlement. Norway's Viking ship expert Dr Knutt Paasche has shown a lot of interest in what is thought to be a Viking vessel buried under the car park of the Railway Inn in Meols. He was really excited because there are very few examples of Viking shipping left- only a handful preserved in blue clay like the Meols boat remain.

Greasby is close by and it is mentioned in the Doomsday Book.
