The Chequers is ideally located in a quieter area of Great Yarmouth but are within walking distance of all of the local attractions, The Beach Britannia Pier, Wellington Pier, Hippodrome circus. Sea Life Centre and the Winter Gardens, Great Yarmouth is ideally situated for trips to the Norfolk Broads and Sandringham, and much more!
In High season there is a free Firework display each Wednesday on the beach.
Great Yarmouth is famous for it's shows on the Britannia Pier with many big names showing.

We can offer Bed and Breakfast or Bed Breakfast plus evening meals
Breakfast menu consists of Choice of Cereals /Juices followed by either a full English breakfast or parts of or Smoked fish or various egg dishes. Selection of preserves and Toast/croissant with Tea or Filtered coffee.

Evening Meals are available and Guests can choose between several starters, two main cooked meal options plus a daily special and then a choice of desserts a and with Tea and coffee

We have a choice of Family, Twin, Double and single en-suite rooms.
Rooms are equipped with Colour TV plus Freeview, Tea /coffee-making facilities, which are, replenished daily.

Please note that we are a no-smoking establishment.

Families welcome Travel cot, High chair and baby monitors are available.
We have a comfortable lounge and a well stocked bar are available to relax in.

Follow signs to the seafront Drive south along the seafront until you reach the Sealife centre/Wellington Pier. Turn right by the Grosvenor Casino turn left into Albert square and we are at the end of this road on the corner.
