We are situated near to town centre close to train and bus services. Thetford is 30 miles from the city of Norwich with good road, train and bus links. Also the same distance from the city of Cambridge. Suffolk’s Bury St Edmunds is 12 miles away.

Thetford itself has lots to offer, it is home to the Dads Army museum so if you are a fan of the show Thetford is a must visit as it was where most of the show was filmed Thetford is Walmington on sea. We have a statue of Captain Mainwaring, which was unveiled last year. Tours are available from the museum on a regular basis during the summer months. Thetford holds a lot of history Thomas Paine author of 'the rights of man ' was born here and the Ancient House museum has all local history on him and plenty of other things of interest.

Thetford Forest is a 5 minute drive away with high lodge forest park just up the road it boast a Go Ape high wire tree top assault course. Also in June and July headline acts set up stage in the forest for outdoor concert this years line up includes Simple Minds, Erasure, Status Quo a fun night for everyone.
