The White Horse Inn
The White Horse Inn is a 16th century coaching Inn sympathetically modernised over the centuries just on the edge of the town of Cromer. We serve Real ales and offer homemade meals in our dining area from a succulent steak to a humble sandwich.
We have ample parking for all our guests. We have 6 modern letting rooms. We have 1 family room (sleeps up to 5), 3 doubles and 2 singles. We do not charge a single person supplement. All have en-suite, tea & coffee making facilities, central heating, free wi-fi and remote control colour televisions.
A full English breakfast is included in the tariff. We have an enclosed patio area.
Children are welcome. Dog friendly in bar area only. We are a stones throw from the beach, centre of town, pier and church.
If you wish to venture further then a day on the Norfolk Broads, A visit to Sandringham Estate, a historical visit to Blickling hall or just a drive along the beautiful coast are all within easy reach.
Cromer town has an abundance of quirky shops to browse around and the church tower is a must to climb if you have the energy!
If you fancy a day in Norwich the bus or train are a great way to get there and save the car. The bus and train station are both within a two minute walk.
The pier houses the Cromer lifeboat museum and is worth visiting as has much history.
Like walking? then why not walk along the beach to Overstrand or Sheringham? And after a long day have a drink in our bar and a meal with us. Our homemade steak and Guinness pie is a real favourite with regulars as is our homemade Baileys cheesecake!
Whatever you choose to do during your stay in Cromer, Anne, ken and all the staff will ensure to make your time with us a very pleasant one regardless of the British weather!
