The Old Rectory
The Old Rectory is a Grade 2 listed Georgian house built in the early to middle of the 18th century. The house retains many of the original classic Georgian features including large sash windows, high ceilings and several fireplaces. The house has an interesting history being part of a Brewery and then a Rectory to its present incarnation as a Bed & Breakfast.
Our rooms are spacious and finished to a very high standard. Each room has Tea and Coffee making facilities, TV with Freeview and DVD player, comfortable beds and clean linen. We have a Car Park, Bicycle storage and drying facilities for walking gear.
Situated within a short walk of Thetford High Street (less than 5 minutes) and with easy access to many local attractions/amenities, including the Dad's Army Museum, Centre Parks and the beautiful Thetford Forest, The Old Rectory is an ideal choice for a comfortable and relaxing Bed & Breakfast experience.
Thetford Train Station is between 10 and 15 minutes walk and the Bus Station no more than 10 minutes. The new A11 bypass is now finished providing great links to the M11.
We have a selection of either Double En-Suite, Twin or Single rooms, prices range from £35 - £70.00 per night (including breakfast).
We provide a full English breakfast (with locally sourced produce) together with a selection of cereals, toast and jams. We endeavour to cater to all tastes and ask that you provide us with any special requirements or allergy information prior to your visit.
