I can recommend..
A walk around the Bar Walls with great views of the city. Walking around the 'Snickelways' (information book available),York Railway Station which is a fine example of Victorian civil engineering and has one of the longest platforms in Europe along with the Rail Museum . River walks to parks, gardens and Bishop's Palace, to mention but a few.
There are also many places to visit outside York and I will be able to make suggestions to meet your individual needs.
