We are a friendly family run bed and breakfast and our aim is to make your stay with us an enjoyable experience where you will want to return time and time again. Grassington with its quaint cobbled market place is so picturesque and you will find a variety of shops, eating houses, and pubs to visit. Of course, summer is a time when most people feel the need to get away for a break and Grassington is one of the most popular villages within the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

More and more visitors are discovering that Grassington also has much to offer all year round. The autumn months can be particularly spectacular with the ever changing scenery and is a photographer's paradise. Walkers just love the area with so many places to visit not to mention the many country inns enroute to quench their thirst or enjoy something to eat.

In December Grassington holds a Dickensian Market during the three weekends prior to Christmas where locals and visitors alike dress up in Dickensian costume adding to the special atmosphere created during this period. Why not do a bit of Christmas shopping during your visit, you'll find lots of stalls with locally handcrafted goods which will make unique presents for friends and family.

In June Grassington holds a summer festival. The programme comes into flower this year on Friday 17th June 2011 with a carnival parade - announcing the arrival of a colourful fortnight of music, theatre, comedy, film and visual arts. A host of events including poetry, music and craft fairs and that’s just the beginning of a programme packed with famous faces, budding stars and lots of surprises.

Grassington is perfect as a walking base for both Nidderdale and Wharfedale and is home to the Upper Wharfedale Folk Museum and nearby Grimwith Reservoir is perfect for both sailing and windsurfing.
