Milton House
Each room comes equipped with a TV and DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities, robes, fresh flowers and complimentary wine. Ideally located for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and Moors, visiting Herriot and Heartbeat country, or the four nearby race courses and three local golf clubs.
We are surrounded by beautiful villages & market towns with good pubs and restaurants and only a short distance from a theme park and activity park.
However, if you just want to relax why not spend time in the large garden that offers a choice of croquet, lawn darts, and bowls or simply chill out in the large cosy drawing room.
At Milton House we take great pride in using our own and locally sourced produce for a hearty breakfast which include our free range eggs, complemented by home made preserves. What better way to start the day?
Milton House was built in 1930 and has many beautiful, unique features. In the spacious grounds we have stables and a menage and surrounding fields that are home to our sheep, chickens and horses.
'We stayed for one night at Milton Lodge when visiting family in the area. The house is fantastic and we received such a warm welcome. We will certainly be using Milton House for our next visit up north'.
